Board of Directors
Andrew Stewart
ChairmanAndrew Stewart is an exploration geologist with over 15 years’ experience in mineral exploration; primarily focused on project generation, project evaluation and exploration strategy development throughout Asia and Eastern Europe. Andrew has particular expertise in porphyry copper-gold and epithermal gold deposits, but has worked across a diverse range of commodities.
Andrew has previously worked for Ivanhoe Mines and Vale, and during this time Andrew held various technical and management positions in Mongolia and Indonesia and has been involved in several green fields discoveries. After providing technical and program management for Vale in Indonesia and Mongolia. Andrew joined Xanadu Mines as Chief Geologist leading the gold and base metals project generation and evaluation team in Mongolia.
Andrew is a member of the Safety, Health and Environment Committee. Andrew holds a BSc (Hons) from Macquarie University and a PhD from the Centre of Ore Deposits and Exploration Studies at the University of Tasmania. He is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
Peter Duerden
Managing DirectorPeter Duerden is a Geologist and Mining Executive with over 25 years’ experience and a track record of developing successful exploration strategies with juniors and majors, including roles at Newcrest Mining Limited and Alkane Resources Limited.
Naomi Scott
Independent Non-Executive DirectorNaomi Scott has been working in the mining industry for over 15 years, with a particular focus on government relations, public relations, land access, governance, community consultation and international arbitration. For the last few years, Ms Scott managed Waratah’s African portfolio. Naomi studied Law and International Relations in the UK and the US with specialisations in land law and human rights.
Naomi joined the private sector, supporting mining companies to identify risk and ensure compliance to international standards in operations and trade. Prior to joining Waratah Minerals, Naomi held a senior business development role in Anglo American, focusing on opportunities in emerging markets. The role included management of remote exploration teams, legal compliance, risk analysis (operational and sovereign) and M+A.
Prior to her roles in the mining sector, Ms Scott held positions in various intra-governmental organisations including the United Nations and the World Bank.
Darryl Clark
Independent Non-Executive DirectorDr Darryl Clark, a graduate of CODES UTAS, is principally an exploration geologist whose career has taken him throughout Australia, Central Asia and South East Asia for over 26 years. His responsibilities over the last 17 years have involved him in a diverse range of technological, political and cultural environments with unique challenges. During previous corporate roles with both Vale and BHP Billiton, and in consulting roles including SRK, he has been responsible for business development strategies, designing multi-commodity exploration programs and the co-ordination of exploration teams to deliver discovery events. Dr. Clark is currently the Senior Vice President Exploration & Resource Development for the Saudi Arabian Mining Company Ma’aden and a Non- Executive Director for Yukon Metals Corp (YMC:CSE).

Richard Willson
General Manager, Corporate & Company SecretaryRichard Willson is an experienced, Non-Executive Director, Company Secretary and CFO with more than 20 years’ experience predominantly within the mining, technology and agricultural sectors for both publicly listed and private companies.
Richard has a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of South Australia, is a Fellow of CPA Australia, and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is a Non-Executive Director of Titomic Limited (ASX:TTT), Clara Resources Limited (ASX:C7A), Orpheus Uranium Ltd (ASX:ORP), MedTEC Holdings Limited, and Unity Housing Company Ltd; and Company Secretary of a number of ASX Listed Companies. Richard is the Chairman of the Audit Committee of Titomic Limited, Clara Resources Limited, and Unity Housing Company, and is the Chairman of the Remuneration & Nomination Committee of Titomic Limited. He has previously been Chairman, Non-Executive Director, and Company Secretary of numerous ASX listed companies.
Scott Robson
Exploration Manager, VictoriaScott Robson has over 30 years experience in the exploration and mining industry. He started his career as a junior geologist exploring for gold in the Western District of Victoria. Scott has gained extensive experience in exploration and project evaluation of epithermal gold, volcanic hosted massive sulphide, and porphyry Cu-Au deposits to be discovered within the Stavely Magmatic Arc. Scott has prepared three technical papers and has worked in over 10 countries holding key management positions.
Scott graduated in Geology at Monash University, Melbourne. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business. Scott is a Chartered Professional member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
Paul Bridson
Group Financial ControllerPaul Bridson is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary with more than 30 years accounting and finance experience, including more than 25 years in the resources industry.
He was formerly Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for ASX listed Centaurus Metals Limited and prior to that role fulfilled the same role with Avalon Minerals Limited. Prior to these roles he was Financial Controller for Gindalbie Metals Limited and has also held site-based finance positions with various other WA based mining and mine service companies.
Paul is also currently the Chief Financial Officer for ASX-listed DiscovEx Resources Limited, a position he has held since 2012 and was formerly also Company Secretary for this Company.
Paul is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Governance Institute of Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia.
